Why did you choose Jefferson Park to live in?

My dad has owned property in North Denver and Jefferson Park for the past fifteen years and we have really grown up with the neighborhood and seen it evolve. Now that I live on my own, I’ve chosen to stay in Jefferson Park not only for the short five minute ride into downtown, but also for the old and new businesses that surround the area. I love being close to 2914 Coffee (one of my favorite spots) and also being able to walk to the grocery store.

What about the neighborhood jives with your business culture or your lifestyle?

I enjoy the sense of community in Jefferson Park. There is always something going on whether it’s a street party, a community clean-up day, or a concert in the park. There’s just never a shortage of things to do and the energy is really palpable.

Why are you passionate about your business or your community? What’s the story?

I run my music business from home and I love being centrally located and within reach of downtown, so that when I do have to meet someone for the business or for fun, it’s a short ride. I have a studio in my basement where I compose and record music for my music project,  Lucid Vision.  I am passionate about the music scene in Denver. It is in a state of infinite growth right now. It’s exciting to be at the epicenter of one of the fastest growing and eclectic music scenes in the country right now. It’s amazing to have a dedicated space for music and a community that wholeheartedly supports local talent.

What inspired the look of your home’s decor or style?

My home has a great “loft-like” vibe but is at the same time very traditional and comfortable. It is a row home that sits on a commercial street and is zoned for business, and will be easy to put a shingle out, when I am ready for that sort of thing. I also really like that I can have a separate space to do my craft, and it’s nice and open for entertaining.
