Both up-and-coming and rooted

1) What neighborhood do you live in?

I live on the edge of Capitol Hill and City Park West.

2) Why did you choose that neighborhood?

I really wanted to live somewhere where I could immerse myself in a community of people from different cultural, economic, and social backgrounds. I also like that my neighborhood is centrally located and that it’s on several public transportation routes. It’s an area with an up-and-coming vibe that, at the same time, remains committed to its roots.

3) What are your favorite local spots?

Hooked on Colfax, Olive & Finch, the Denver Art Museum, Little Man Ice Cream, Root Yoga, Santa Fe Art District, City Park, Ace, the Grizzly Rose, and so many more!

4) P.S. We love your vibe! What inspires your style?

I think a lot of my inspiration centers around my love for playing sports. If I can wear it AND go to the gym, practice yoga or play tennis, basketball or ultimate frisbee, it’s perfect! I love yoga pants and super bright work-out clothes. I also adore my cowboy boots and wear them any chance I have, be it for riding horses, dancing at the Rose, going to an outdoor country concert or spicing up an outfit for work or a wedding. I’m a part-country, part-city and part-mountains type of girl and I think that’s reflected in most of my wardrobe as well as in the things I love to do and the people I spend time with.
