What neighborhood do you live in? 

I live in the Cole Neighborhood near City Park. It backs up to Curtis Park.

Why did you choose Cole?

I used to rent in Whittier and loved the area. I wanted to be close to downtown and live in an affordable neighborhood. Now I am in a mature house with fabulous neighbors.

What are some of your favorite local spots?

I like a little of everything and enjoy trying new places. Being a bartender helps me hear about new places all the time. I really enjoy the smaller neighborhood places like Jakes; I love Okinawa because I can get sushi late at night from my neighborhood. I enjoy working at Epic Brewing, too. When I left the service industry, I never expected to be back in it, but here I am. This is close to home. I am excited to be in brewing again.
