What neighborhood do you live in?

I leave in SE Denver near I-25 and Hampden.

 Why did you choose that neighborhood? 

We chose the neighborhood because it is near family and only 10 minutes from downtown, so I am still close and not in the suburbs. We have a Whole Foods, a gym and a new a Target nearby, so there are a lot of conveniences.

What are some of your favorite local spots?

Derbyville where we are all things roller derby: awesome skates and booty shorts, fannie packs with speakers. I like 3 Kings Tavern because they have great rock and roll bands, and I like the Cherry Cricket for their hamburgers. I love Fashion Nation  (now called Vixens & Angels)! It’s the original punk rock shop on 13th where I used to make my mom take me to buy Dr. Martens and spiked belts long before there was Hot Topic. Fashion Nation is an independent local business, and I love to support local businesses. As you might guess, I still shop there. Fashion Nation is across from Wax Trax which is another favorite spot.
