Why did you choose West Wash Park?

It is close to both of my jobs: preschool teacher and clerk at Sewn.

What are your favorite local spots?

Washington Park Early Learning Center and Sewn: Sewn is owned by the parent of a former student. Karma has the best happy hour with $1 sake. I like to walk Wash Park, though I’m partial to South Broadway: Goodwill, Sweet Action, Adrift (for a great date night). Country Club Liquors on Ogden and Cedar is my favorite: Michael and Ester are very personable and know their customers by name.  In the Highlands, I’m partial to Tennyson Tap.  Finally, I like the bands Itchy-O and Cattle Axe.

Upcycled vintage clothing from the 40s, 50s, and 60s.
