What neighborhood do you live in?

Capitol Hill

Why did you choose Capitol Hill?

Cap Hill feels like the neighborhood we lived in formerly in Kansas City.  It is urban, has vibrant people and colors, and a specific wackiness about it. We are also one block from Cheesman Park, a huge draw.

What are some of your favorite local spots?

I love Coors Field. Denver did it right placing the stadium right downtown, as I think that baseball stadiums should always be downtown. I enjoy Okinawa Sushi and Pinche Tacos too. We do like to leave the city though and head to Evergreen Lake which is great during all seasons, especially winter since you can ice skate on the lake then. I also enjoy the new Staunton State Park in Conifer.

P.S. We love your vibe. What inspires your style?

I am absolutely influenced by the comfortable vibe of Cap Hill because it reminds me of the quirky and comfy places back home where I can hang my Mizzou flag and be who I am. I also enjoy being active and I can be anyone I want to be in my neighborhood:  in shorts and tees or dressed to the tee for a night on the town.
