How did early Denver settlers celebrate the Christmas season? Come and find out as you watch the Booth family at Four Mile House prepare their home for the holidays. You can sample their freshly-made sugarplums and chestnuts (yes, roasted on an open fire) as well as cookies they baked in a wood burning stove. In addition to sights, smells, and tastes, take in the experience of Victorian crafts and children’s games. Finish off the afternoon by singing a few carols, taking a ride in a horse-drawn wagon, and visiting Father Christmas.
