Want to see that Cartier exhibit you’ve been hearing about? I do. I’ve heard it’s so beautiful and classic. It’s stunning. Well, you and I have only one choice: we need to head to the Denver Art Museum. The Denver Art Museum is the only venue worldwide to be showing this display, which you can see through March 2015.  The exhibition features a wide array of Cartier jewelry (including what you’d expect but also timepieces and various previous objects) produced between 1900 and 1975. The exhibit serves to display Cartier’s rise from obscurity to fame, to preeminence in the world of jewels all set against the backdrop of various historical events. Most of us associate Cartier’s jewelry with women, but the Denver Art Museum’s display shows that Cartier also crafted precious objects for men, most notably the man’s wristwatch.
