Practice + Commune. Yoga in Park Hill

Stacey McDonald & Morgan Seibel’s biggest goal was to create a welcoming space for people of all levels to practice yoga. Everything from their studio design, to their branding, to the personalities of the yoga teachers embodies this philosophy. This is a true space to unwind, connect to yourself & to our Denver community. Make sure to check them out as they have classes for everybody: kids, tennagers, begginers & the advanced yogi. The Power of OM would love to offer Denver Vibe & Live Urban followers their summer special: 4 Months of UNLIMITED Yoga for $279, must be purchased by July 31, 2016.

Why do you choose Park Hill for your business?

Because it is our own.  We live in and love Park Hill/Mayfair.  There’s no other neighborhood quite like it here in Denver.  It’s full of neighbors with big, warm hearts… a perfect place for fostering a yoga community.

What about the neighborhood  is a reflection of your business culture?

We’re a studio for everyBODY. It’s SO not about the pants at The Power of OM.  People come to practice and commune. They come from work, school or home, all shapes and sizes, all embracing and accepting.  I think that is the biggest way we jive with Park Hill: all embracing and accepting.

Why are you passionate about your business? What is the story?

We live in a society that is always on the go, with so much fight or flight in our daily lives.  Because of this, we believe it is so important for us all to take the time to slow down and listen to what our bodies and minds are calling for. Yoga is a great way to foster this inner growth and to create happy, healthier, and more compassionate human beings (instead of human doings!).

What inspired the look of your business? The design?

We created a space in which students feel welcome, safe, and comfortable. We pride ourselves on this and as we are growing, we are working on branding that really expresses our all-accepting attitude. We are a place that meets students where they are and offers them the tools they need to explore a deeper and more authentic yoga practice.
