Meet Rachael Rose, a Sunnyside local and owner of Full Circle Wellness. Rachael has been poking the people of Denver for health and wellness for more than a decade as an Acupuncturist , and even though she was born and raised on the East Coast, she got to Colorado as fast as she could and never looked back. We love Rachael’s vibe!
What neighborhood is your home or business in?
My business and home are in wonderful Sunnyside.
Why was this neighborhood chosen for your business or your home?
I wanted a smaller home with a little more yard for my garden. Sunnyside is an obvious choice because it used to be farm land, the dirt is really great to grow veggies, fruits and flowers. I also have a nice herb garden growing and and have made some herbal remedies out of the Hyssop and Calendula I grew. The classic brick bungalow is the perfect size for the two of us with our two fur kids (doggies).
What about the neighborhood jives with your business culture or your lifestyle?
The ability to walk or take public transportation is a big plus. There are increasing numbers of bars and local shops in our neighborhood. Supporting local business is important way to show your value system. My mother always said we actually vote with our dollar and I have found this to be true.
Why are you passionate about your business or your community? What’s the story?
The community supported me when I was hurt in a terrible accident 8 years ago. The people in this neighborhood care about each other and the environment we all share. I live in a happy bubble!
What inspired the look of your business and your home’s decor style?
My style is contemporary cozy with an emphasis on clutter free and small house living. The best home purchase we have made is the eco friendly wood burning stove that heats are entire house. My goal is for people to feel comfortable and welcomed into my home.
