1) What neighborhood do you live in?

Capitol Hill (more specifically, Cheesman Park).

2) Why did you choose that neighborhood?

The area surrounding Cheesman Park is, in my opinion, the best part of Capitol Hill, marrying the hipness, walk & bikeability, and proximity to everything cool with the awesomeness of a great park next door and the surroundings of beautiful houses and trees. It’s simultaneously quiet and energetic, stable & active. And unlike much of Cap Hill, parking is not a nightmare.

3) What are your favorite local spots?

There are so many! When it comes to favorite hangouts, coffee shops are definitely way up there. So my favorite Denver coffee shops: Black Eye Coffee, Novo (both on 6th and Glenarm), Pablo’s, Denver Bicycle Cafe,  Rooster & Moon, Cafe Max.  Joy Liquor is absolutely my favorite liquor store. Speaking of liquor, I favor Prohibition, Lala’s Wine Bar, Gov’s, The Hornet, Our Mutual Friend, Blackshirt Brewing.  And for eats, D Bar, Work & Class, Table 6, Olive & Finch, Fruition, Sassafras, Pinche Tacos. Oh, and rooftops, the best rooftops are at Linger, Historian Ale House, Los Chingones. Finally, I am thrilled to spend my time outdoors at Cheesman Park or at The Big Wonderful at Sustainability Park.

4) P.S. We love your vibe! What inspires your style?

I’m absolutely inspired by the media, specifically fashion blogs. One of my favorite moments is that one where, inspired by an outfit I’ve seen on a blog, I work with my existing closet resources, pairing pieces I hadn’t previously considered a match in order to come up with something new and fun.  In this way, my style is always evolving. At the same time though, I absolutely appreciate and attempt to cultivate a look that is classic. Sheath dresses and pencil skirts are my favorites.
